MADONNA & JANET JACKSON – THE CHALLENGE

Challenge number one goes out to Madonna and Janet fans. Watch this video. Enjoy it. Don’t feel the need to chose one over the other. That’s not the point of this creation. Join me in support of this exciting fantasy, rather then commenting on who is the better performer. Maybe if we all scream loud enough this fantasy can become a reality. Challenge number two goes out to Madonna and Janet Jackson. Put your gigantic egos aside. Watch this video. Enjoy it. Think about how your fans have been fighting over the two of you for years. Think about what a beautiful message you would be sending to them and to the world by joining forces. It’s no big secret that Madonna and Janet Jackson are not particularly fond of one and other. They have been far from discreet while speaking of each other over the years. The pair made the press again last year when they were both spotted on the same night hanging out at club Butter in NYC. They were sitting only several booth away from each other but decided not to strike up a conversation. It baffles me to think that two women with so much in common can be so catty and petty with each other. The fact that they have both spent the early stages of their careers striving to be the female Michael Jackson might have something to do with it. Now that they have both achieved this goal in their own particular ways, can we the fans finally get what we have been secretly dreaming about for over 20 years? The timing couldn’t be better. Although Madonna

Tony Curtis & Janet Leigh

A tribute to Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, set to Astrud Gilberto’s “Far Away”. Curtis and Leigh were one of Hollywood’s golden couples, along with Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee, Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner, but like the others mentioned, there were problems behind the picture-perfect image. They costarred in six films together (“Houdini”, “The Vikings”, “The Black Shield Of Falworth”, “The Perfect Furlough”, “Who Was That Lady?” and “Pepe”). Their marriage lasted for eleven years and produced two daughters, Kelly and Jamie Lee Curtis. No doubt the stress of their careers, homelife, keeping up their images and Tony’s wandering eye took their toll. They both remarried, but, hopeless romantic that I am, I like to think that there was a part of their hearts that was reserved for each other. Since Janet is gone now, the song seemed to work well both with the fact that she has passed on and the fact that their marriage fell apart. Again, effects were fun to experiment with. Enjoy!
