Ron Hextall Career Highlights Music Video

This video was never part of the show, but here at Generation X Live! we love hockey and the violence that comes with it. Nobody did them both better than Ron Hextall. He was probably the most complete goaltender ever to play. From stopping the puck, to his handling of it, so scoring to intimidating the opposing players, and probably being the first goalie to cause teams to change their game plans to keep the puck away from him. To this day we miss his presence in the crease and the music he made on the pipes. This is my little tribute to him. Thanks for the memories Ron! The song used is “Come With Me” by Puff Daddy (with Jimmy Page on Guitar) from the Godzilla Soundtrack. Lakers vs Magic Highlights Shannon Brown Career High 22 Points

Date: January 18, 2010 Staples Center, Los Angeles,CA All Video Credits to JD2K. This is a day Shannon Brown will remember. The high-flyer was officially announced as a dunk contestant Monday, something he has longed for. Then in the rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, Brown helped carry the Lakers to a 98-92 victory over the Magic at Staples Center. “Everything worked out today man,” said Brown, who finished with a career-high 22 points on 8-for-12 shooting in 21 minutes. “Everybody did a great job of finding me … everything clicked. “I’ve been trying to stay humble about the whole situation. I’m definitely thankful and appreciative.” With the win, the Lakers (32-9) now have an NBA-best 23-3 record at home despite a horrid offensive night from Kobe Bryant, who scored 11 points on 4-for-19 shooting. Along with a strong effort from Brown, the other Lakers picked up the slack. Pau Gasol finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Lamar Odom also added nine points and 16 rebounds. 2010 NBA Western Conference Finals – Los Angeles Lakers vs Phoenix Suns – Game 2 – Highlights

Lakers take a 2-0 lead over the Suns in the best of seven Western Conference Finals series. Kobe Bryant’s 6 straight 30 point game streak came to an end but the Lakers winning streak continued. Bryant played the facilitator role in this game with an career high 13 assists. The reason Kobe was more of a decoy this game was that Phoenix decided to get the ball out of his hands so he wouldn’t rip the Suns D apart like he did Monday. Gasol had a huge 29 point, 9 rebound effort as he dominated the Suns much smaller frontline and pretty much shut up Amare Stoudamire who said on his twitter he dominated Gasol in past years. Especially in the 4th quarter he got a couple of and 1’s and easy layups. Odom had another great game with 17 points, and 9 rebounds and he too proved it was all skill and no luck. Odom clearly showed his advantage in transition and off the dribble, the Suns have no one that can stay in front of him. Bynum also played well in limited minutes with 13 points and 7 boards and showed he can be productive even with the knee injury and the 3 day layoff will certainly help him and Kobe who are both are battling injuries. Farmar was big in this game he hit three 3 points in this game and pushed the pace while he was in the game to get LA easy buckets on the break. The bench nearly gave up the lead in the 2nd quarter but play much better in the 4th quarter. The series resumes Sunday in Phoenix. (8:30 ET, TNT)
