    @deluxedookie
    Not any place I have worked. Maybe that’s a Jersey thing…lol .. and where I work, that is not possible, we do variable data publishing so there for we have certain requirements for software.

    @texastame

    alot of people who go there are kids who just waste the parents money also cuz they dont care.
    i was gonna go to A.I. i was noticed how picky people are and said screw that so im a IT guy and get to watvh people argue all day lol.

  19. on 11 May 2010 at 8:27 am deluxedookie

    @texastame
    only time a company upgrades is if they have too, the IT head has to make the managers belive that it will be worth there money, unless your at a very rich film company your not gonna see anything newer than win xp, places still useing NT4.0 so the software is gonna be old too.

  20. on 11 May 2010 at 8:33 am deluxedookie

    @rickylovehorror86

    alot of company’s use old stuff only very rich film companys upgrade often. were talking pentinum 4, 1gb of ram on you typical companys pc’s. i seen seen that for auto cad setups too. main reason easy for the IT people to fix and cheap to maitain.

  23. on 11 May 2010 at 9:52 am texastame

    and too all the dumb asses out there that keep saying that is Win95…ummm and ummm and like that is a Mac, a PowerPC I believe. Window 95/98 did not not have that screen saver. OS 8 did. And umm and ummm like she is using iOmega tape drives, look at that shelf. Wait.. is that a 5.25″ floppy I see on her desk?

  24. on 11 May 2010 at 10:41 am texastame

    She is? Maybe since I am gay I am more critical, but ummmmmm no????

  25. on 11 May 2010 at 11:38 am texastame

    Umm and umm like, umm also going to school won’t make you a graphic designer. I seen people that spent 30K at the A.I. and are horrible at it and produce crap. You gotta have talent. I got in to field cause I am good at it and fell in to it, not cause I chose it out of book or brochure.
