By the way I agree with his crimes against humanity, what I was implying below is that he has an impossibly ‘productive’ resume. I’ve never see any one person hold so many different power positions in my life. I agree that it is unusual that a retired banker should be meeting the emperor. But I could think of a lot of other reasons why they should be meeting (they met at a party somewhere and are friends, they are both supporters of a charity, they share the same social concerns…) One does not need to assume that either are the leaders of their respective nations.
